Spring is a time of change and the weather can make it challenging to decide on a sandwich to prepare as a feature. It can be hot or cold, rainy or sunny and usually the weather favors different types of sandwiches. One of my personal favorites is a great choice for this time of year: the Turkey Rueben!
This sandwich is a different take on the classic Reuben that everyone loves. Tender smoked turkey is paired with Thousand Island dressing, Swiss cheese, creamy coleslaw, and sourdough bread to make a taste that is all its own. This sandwich seems to be a perfect transition from heavy cold weather food to the lighter fare of summer. Stop by and try one for yourself and let me know what you think.
